Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip

A super fan favorite entertaining appetizer that’s easy, delicious, and pretty much effortless would have to be this slow cooker spinach artichoke dip!

I happen to snag this 3qt Crockpot for $15 at Target and it was perfect to dump all my ingredients and have it nice and ready for when my guests arrived. If you don’t have a crockpot, don’t worry! You can make this in a casserole dish and place in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Frozen Spinach Package; steamed and squeezed dry

  • 1 14 oz Canned Artichoke Hearts, Drained & Chopped

  • 6 oz Cream Cheese, Softened

  • 1/2 Cup of 0% Greek Yogurt; Fage Total Brand Preferred

  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese; Shredded

  • 4 Large Garlic Cloves; Minced

  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Onion Powder

 
Feeds:
  6-8 People
Prep Time:  10 Minutes
Slow Cooker Time:  1-2 Hours on High
Or Oven Time:  30 Minutes & 1-2 Mins Broil or until slightly toasted on top (350 Degrees)

Serve w/: Garlic & Herb Gourmet Crackers, sliced bread rounds, or celery/carrots (vegetables)
 



Directions:

  1. Steam your frozen spinach and drain.

  2. Be sure cream cheese is softened.

  3. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  4. Place in slow cooker on high for 1-2 hours or on low for 2+ hours.
    (Tip: If using an oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees, transfer mixture to a casserole safe dish and bake for 30 minutes. Broil for 1-2 minutes until top is slightly toasted.)


  5. Serve with crackers or veggies on the side & enjoy!
